My name is Alyssa Gonzalez, and I have been through hell and back. It all started when
we were in high school, with the zombie apocalypse. It was Central California, and
everything went to hell almost overnight. My friends and I had to fight for our lives to
survive and escape.
Then came the mass exodus: We headed to Canada, and we barely made it. Others
weren’t so lucky. I have no idea how we were able to not only get to the sanctuary city
but get Luke there, too. He was only five at the time, and precocious as any little boy.
But we made it, with minimal casualties.
Minimal. Heh.
Then came the desperate journey to Boston, to try and help with a cure. It was a
maddening trip, and not everyone survived. But we finally arrive at the doc’s. That’s
when things got really bad. Really, really, really bad.
