THE REVIEWS ARE IN!
The Horror Zine:
“Through all these stories, other-worldly music, bizarre sounds, and big and little monstrous things that should not be seen or heard in a normal world, intrude into the woods, the towns, and the cities with their deadly intentions. This is not a book for those who like happy endings.
Horror fans will appreciate that.”

Uncomfortably Dark/Red Rose Review 4/30/22:
“Each plot is original; I can’t recall ever reading anything like any of them. I devoured the entirety in one sitting. It was so good.
I liked the flawed family dynamics, the authenticity of character reactions, the dialogue is scalable, and the action interspersed just enough to hook from the very beginning.”

Kendall Reviews:
“Quality writing from an experienced storyteller. Fugue Devil: Resurgence is full of engaging stories (mostly cosmic horror). You can’t go wrong with Rainey’s collection.”
